They say you never forget a good teacher, and this goes for snowsports too. Lessons or coaching should be an enjoyable part of your holiday experience, not just something you ‘have’ to do gain your independence on the mountain. We work with ski schools whose aim is to make, not break, your holiday.
There are a variety of fantastic ski schools operating in Courchevel, all of whom teach in English. They offer a mix of group and private lessons, guiding and ski/snowboard clinics.
Please note that the ski schools generally don’t meet in Le Praz itself for group lessons, but near the top of the gondola in Courchevel 1850.
We strongly recommend booking in advance, particularly for peak weeks.

Meeting Points:
The meeting points are in Courchevel 1850. Take the free navette bus (around 20 minutes), or the Praz gondola. Beginners will meet at the bottom of the Jardin Alpin gondola. For all other group & private lessons, the meeting point is situated below the Croisette building on the opposite side of the road (close to where the Praz gondola top station is). Alternative meeting points may be available on request for private lessons.

Supreme Ski & Snowboard School
Supreme was one of the first international ski schools in the Alps, originally opening in Courchevel in 1991 and now operating across many resorts in the French Alps. They are renowned for taking great care of their customers, and focus on delivering a professional, personable service from booking through to the fun lessons taught by their fully qualified instructors.
Meeting Points:
The meeting point in Courchevel is by the main lifts in 1850, on the snow opposite Jean Blanc Sports. From Le Praz, take the free navette bus to 1850, or the Praz gondola. Alternative meeting points may be available on request for private lessons.

Oxygene Ski & Snowboard School
Oxygene is an independent school run by an Anglo-French team. They have a superb reputation for offering a personalised approach in small friendly groups. Their experienced instructors are renowned for their fun and exciting approach to teaching kids to learn to ski. They also offer adult group ski lessons, private lessons, off-piste courses, handi-ski and have snowboard specific instructors too.
Meeting Point:
From Le Praz, either take the Praz gondola and walk across the road to the Croisette at Courchevel 1850, or take the free navette bus to travel by road. From La Tania, take the free bus to Le Praz Alpinium (approx 5 minutes), and either take a connecting bus to continue by road, or jump on the Praz gondola. Alternative meeting points may be available on request for private lessons.

Maison Sport
Specialising in sourcing independent ski and snowboard instructors, Maison Sport offer a unique opportunity to specifically choose your private instructor. You will be able to speak with the instructor directly prior to committing to your booking and view their reviews, meaning that you can be sure you have chosen the instructor who best suits your lesson needs, whether it be private ski or snowboard lessons, or something more tailored like ski tour adventuring or off-piste lessons.
