COURCHEVEL LE PRAZ

COURCHEVEL LE PRAZ

Le Praz is a traditional village set at 1300m, still boasting authentic charm, with its old wooden chalets and cobbled streets. It is located in the Savoie commune of Courchevel, and part of the vast 3 Valleys ski area. The village is home to the Tremplin du Praz ski jumping hill, built for the 92 Albertville Olympics, and is well linked with the multiple villages of Courchevel and La Tania by both road and piste.

New for Winter 2019/2020 is the L’Alpinum Development, which is the culmination of 18 months’ work and 27 million euros. The building, subtly set into the ground, is located at the bottom of the piste and is home to the departure station for the new 10-seater gondola, which now gives direct access onto the piste in Courchevel 1850 in only 6 minutes. The building also contains to the new Tourist Office, catering facilities, underground parking and a large ski locker room. The top floor leads to a viewing platform over the lake, and the roof doubles up as a sports field!
